Congratulations to Rebecca and Ryan on their beautiful wedding! After the perfect proposal, these two tied the knot in a romantic ceremony. We are ecstatic to share their love story and pictures with you!
“I went into Mia Grace feeling discouraged and walked out buying my dress. They listened to my vision and pulled dresses. As I tried them on and made critiques, they would adjust the selection of dresses they pulled as to not overwhelm me. They helped me find my dress in that one appointment. I felt absolutely stunning… They treated me like family throughout the entire process and I could not thank them enough…” - Rebecca
Love Story
Rebecca and Ryan met on the dating app, Hinge. However, they had been in a Nurse residency class for almost a year before ever talking to each other. At first, Rebecca thought Ryan was too forward but then after a long shift, she asked him to dinner. They both wore sweats since it was after work. They went to a Chinese restaurant and then to Jenni's Ice Cream. It was almost a four-hour date of just talking and eating. The rest is history!
Proposal Ryan proposed in February 2021, which is Rebecca’s birthday month. He set the scene on February 1st by saying, “Happy birthday month, I have a surprise for you when you get home from work.” Everyone at work told Rebecca he would be proposing, but Rebecca didn’t believe them! When Rebecca arrived at home, Ryan had set up golf balls that took her on a scavenger hunt to specific parts of their house. The last golf ball said, “Go find the ring,” meaning the doorbell. Rebecca opened the front door to Ryan standing outside. He got down on one knee in front of the Ring camera, which caught the whole thing! They still joke that Ring doorbell should have asked them for a commercial. It was absolutely perfect!
Wedding
Rebecca and Ryan’s wedding was very elegant and simple. The couple wanted to stand out, so everyone in the bridal party wore black. Ryan wore maroon and Rebecca wore white! Their flowers were maroon and white, but the centerpieces were white and black. Everything came together perfectly on their day!
