Congratulations to Lauren and Trevor on their beautiful wedding day. Five years after they began dating, Trevor proposed to Lauren in Chicago. A few years later, these two tied the knot in the perfect ceremony.
“[My stylist] helped me find the most perfect dress for my wedding. She was attentive and listened to what I was really looking for, pulled a few dresses I had seen online and been interested in, and then she pulled one more that she thought I might like. Well, I fell in love with it and the rest is history. [My stylist] and the Mia Grace team were nothing but kind and courteous throughout our whole experience, from finding the dress to the bridesmaids dresses.” - Lauren
Love Story
Trevor and Lauren met through mutual friends in 2013 at Six Flags. The following year they were co-leads at Mr. Freeze and by the end of the season they started dating.
Proposal
August 14th, Lauren's sister, Madison and their dear friend Anne, dragged Lauren up to Gurnee for a surprise visit to their other friend, Ellen, for Lauren's 25th birthday. It was a great time of going to Six Flags Great America and getting free cake.
Trevor had told Lauren he needed to go on a day trip to Kentucky for work that following Friday, August 16th (which was also their 5-year dating anniversary). This was the same day the girls would be returning home.
Madison and Anne decided they should visit Chicago on their way home, so they had Lauren dress up and went to Chinatown. The girls had a delicious meal and Lauren wanted to go to the park to see the giant fountain. However, Lauren was unaware that Trevor was also in Chicago and desperately trying not to run into them.
After a visit to the park, getting some Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts, Lauren and her friends went back to the fountain Lauren originally wanted to see. When they finally got to the fountain, Anne had to take a phone call, and decided to walk off for 'privacy.’ Madison had Lauren walk all the way around the giant fountain and awkwardly take pictures. Anne rejoined and also began taking pictures.
Then, Trevor came up from behind and got down on one knee. He asked Lauren to marry him, and she said YES!
Wedding
Lauren and Trevor’s wedding was elegant and romantic, with the beautiful river bluff at Hermann for the ceremony. They celebrated their reception in the gorgeous ballroom. The colors included bright jewel tone colors to bring the event together. Lauren and Trevor’s wedding day was absolutely perfect.
