A Love Story Meant to Be
Alison and Winston first met in their hometown of St. Louis after moving back for work post-graduation. They were friends for a while, but everything changed when Alison needed a date for a friend’s wedding. Winston eagerly volunteered, and that night felt completely different. They danced, talked, and suddenly saw each other in a whole new light. And just like that, their love story began!
The Proposal: A Moment to Remember
On a perfect spring day, Winston pulled off the sweetest proposal at Shaw Park. As they strolled through the park, Alison had no idea what was coming. When they reached a pavilion, she was surprised to find all of their closest family and friends waiting there—along with their adorable dog, Duncan. But Duncan wasn’t just there to celebrate; he had an important job to do. Wearing a tiny backpack with the ring inside, he ran up to them at just the right moment. Winston took the ring, got down on one knee, and popped the question. Of course, Alison said yes! It was a moment full of joy, happy tears, and lots of puppy love.
A Dream Wedding Day
Alison and Winston’s wedding was a dream come true. They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clayton, then danced the night away at their stunning reception at Bogey Hills Country Club. Every detail was perfect, from the heartfelt vows to the incredible energy on the dance floor. The Mia Grace Bridal Experience
Finding the perfect dress at Mia Grace Bridal was such a special experience for Alison. Her stylist was incredibly patient and helpful, and not only did she find one perfect dress—she found two! She hadn’t planned on an outfit change, but once she saw that second dress, she knew it was meant to be.
Her bridesmaids also had an amazing experience at Mia Grace, finding dresses that suited each of them beautifully.
But what really made Mia Grace stand out? Their dedication. Just two days before the wedding, Alison ran into a major issue with her alterations—her dress ended up absolutely filthy. She called Mia Grace just to give them a heads-up about the alteration place, not expecting anything more. But Mia Grace went above and beyond, insisting she bring the dress in. Overnight, they had it looking brand new! That’s the kind of care and commitment that makes all the difference.
