Their Love Story:
Jon and Lauren met at a local bank. He worked at the bank and Lauren was a customer. They would talk whenever Lauren would come into the bank. It was as if they have known each other for years and the conversation was completely effortless. They began talking in the fall of 2014, and by January 2015 they were officially a couple!

She Said 'Yes!'
The proposal was nothing short of perfect! A year and a half after meeting, Jon decided that he was going to pop the question. Lauren had planned a couple's photoshoot for the two of them. Little did she know, Jon reached out to the photographer without her knowing and said that he was planning to propose during the shoot. It was a beautiful spring day in Forest Park, filled with people for the Earth Day Festival. Before Lauren knew it, Jon was down on one knee asking her to marry him. Lauren was completely surprised! She couldn't comprehend what was going on around her. Everything seemed to stop. She said yes, then their best friends showed up soon after. Jon's incredibly well thought-out proposal was everything Lauren had dreamed of. They had the perfect pictures from the beautiful proposal.
The Wedding
Lauren and Jon's wedding was a rustic, autumn theme with bright pops of fall color and a close connection to nature. The venue allowed for a seamless indoor/outdoor transition. The celebration was tucked away and surrounded by trees, a cascading lake, and glimmering lights from the rustic lantern lights that were strung around the building. It was a fall and pumpkin lover’s fairytale.
