We are absolutely blown away by the fantastic photographs we received from Maria and Kyle’s very special day! Maria said she couldn’t have imagined everything coming together any better and we have to agree! Everything about their homestyle wedding was picture perfect and we are thrilled that we get to share their gorgeous wedding with the bridal community!
“Mia Grace was amazing! I had my eye on a dress from Mori Lee that was several seasons old and nobody had a sample. I was so skeptical about ordering a dress without trying it on, and Mia Grace found so many similar dresses, but I kept comparing to the other dress. Eventually, I think they knew my heart was fully invested in the other dress, and they ordered it for me to try on as a sample. A few months later, the dress came in, I put it on, and I was SOLD! It was the most beautiful gown I had ever laid eyes on. I didn't want to take it off, and I didn't want to try on another gown. Nothing could have topped it!” – Maria
Their Love Story
Maria and Kyle were born three days apart in the same small town, but they did not meet until they turned 18 years old! They were introduced to one another by a mutual friend at a party and the rest is history! 7 years later, they decided to make it official!
The Proposal
In the Spring of 2017, Kyle proposed to Maria in front of all of their family and friends at a barbeque! He handed her a note that read, “Check Yes or No” based off of the George Strait song and he got down on one knee! Maria said yes and kissed him while all of their friends and family cheered behind them! It was absolutely perfect!
A Dream Come True
On September 15th, Maria and Kyle celebrated their union with a breathtaking ceremony at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Washington, Missouri! Following the ceremony, this newlywed couple continued the celebration with a fabulous reception at the Knights of Columbus. If you had to give their wedding a theme, it was “Sweet Home Alabama,” which is Maria’s favorite movie! They wanted to bring a little bit of the big city to their small hometown. While they stay away from class rustic décor, they did find places to add elegant rustic elements, such as white distressed lanterns and individual jars of homemade jam from berries they have picked off of Kyle’s grandparents farm. Maria and Kyle took photos with their wedding party on the family farm as well! They made sure to incorporate other family elements as well, which included their parents and grandparents wedding photos, and Maria’s grandpa’s bourbon slushie recipe! Maria looked so beautiful in her bridal gown from Morilee by Madeline Gardner! This delicate fit and flare design features a intricately beaded pattern covering the majority of the gown and an amazing halter top illusion neckline! She also wore a lovely 2-layer beaded veil from Bel Aire Bridals to complete her perfect bridal look! Maria’s bridesmaids looked fabulous in their gowns that were also from Morilee, which also features a halter top design and flowing tulle skirt! Their wonderful wedding was created through the hard work from the following vendors:
