Hannah and Jake had the most gorgeous December wedding! We are absolutely thrilled to have been a part of their very special day and we are honored to share their love story with the Mia Grace Bridal family!
"Mia Grace truly provides a professional, comfortable, and easy bridal experience. I was nervous that after trying on 15 dresses we would not find the one, but Lexi guided me toward the perfect Allure ballgown. We all cried when I came out - sealed the deal!" - Hannah
Their Love Story
Hannah and Jake first met while attending Hazelwood Central High School. Jake was the life of the party, a prankster and a natural straight A student. Hannah was a theater amd choir nerd who stuck to a strict schedule of dancing lessons and play practices. After years of college, hair loss, living with their parents, and a few cats later, Hannah and Jake reconnected and had their first date at Steinberg Ice Rink in Forest Park. Jake had mellowed out over the years even becoming a little shy. Hannah lead the date with endless questions and stories, and held it together pretty well when she almost wiped out on the ice. Jake smiled and nodded politely at every comment during the date, but Hannah was sure she had ran him off with her endless chatter. But it was after that date, that Hannah and Jake knew they couldn't be without each other.
The Proposal
Nearly two years to the date, Jake took Hannah to the very spot where they had his first date. She critized him for being on his phone while they waited for the ice to be cleaned...little did she know he was arranging the proposal spot with the surprise photographer. Once on the ice, Jake pulled over to the side to tie up his laces. While down on one knee, Jake pulled out the most beautiful ring Hannah has ever seen and asked for forever. All she really remembers is asking him, "What are you doing?! Is this really happening?!". They are both pretty sure she said yes, and went on to meet family and friends for dinner after. "So lucky to be able to now call my best friend and soul mate my husband and life partner." - Hannah
