How It All Began
As a recent college graduate navigating through the next chapter of his life, Julius found himself away from his Mississippi home, in Kirksville, Missouri. At the same time, Tara's junior year in college came to an end and her first summer in Kirksville began. Their paths crossed on a blazing summer day in 2013 and little did they know that an everlasting fire would soon ignite between them. Their friendship continued to grow with each passing month, which led to their first date in early fall. Several dinner dates later, they realized what they had together was something special. November 16th, 2013 marked the day when a friendship blossomed into so much more. The Proposal It was a beautiful autumn morning on October 16th, 2015 when a simple phrase would change the lives of Tara and Julius forever. Tara was going about her usual morning routine and Julius was preparing a breakfast feast fit for a king and queen. They absolutely loved bonding with deep conversations about anything and everything over delicious food, but this particular meal would mark the beginning of a new and exciting chapter for the loving couple. Julius walked into Tara's room where she was getting ready for their long weekend together and covered her eyes. He then led her into the kitchen where the wonderful aroma of breakfast foods filled the air. With her eyes now uncovered, Tara looked down at the meal in front of her and couldn't help but appreciate all of the efforts put forth by the man she loves. Taking it all in, she looked closer at her plate and propped up in between two perfectly placed strawberries was THE RING! After the many tears fell down her cheek, she finally let go of their embrace and Julius got down on one knee. He looked up into her eyes and said, "Will you marry me?" and of course her answer was, "YES!".
What a Wonderful Wedding!
On March 18th, Tara Quintos (now Quintos-Johnson) married the man of her dreams in New Town at the St. Charles Chapel! The lovely couple had a gorgeous ceremony followed by an amazing reception at the St. Charles Event Tent! Tara looked so stunning in the Prinia from the Sophia Tolli Collection by Mon Cheri! This sweetheart tulle A-line gown features layers of decadent hand-beaded lace appliques and a dazzling crystal belt! Her bridesmaids also looked beautiful in their dresses from the Hayley Paige Collection! This amazing chiffon dress features a draped V-neckline and gorgeous strap detail on the back! The ivory Tuileries over the chiffon gives this gown a truly unique look! Their wedding was created through hard work from the following vendors:
